Nearly half (49%) of healthcare workers report that they are now at a breaking point. Burnout is affecting all disciplines and specialties, regardless of whether you’re a trauma nurse in a metropolitan hospital, or a dentist with a private practice in a small town. It’s affecting clients and patients, it’s affecting families, and it’s tearing apart lives with increased reports of depression, thoughts of suicide, as well as drug and alcohol abuse.

Unfortunately those who care for others are too often unwilling or unable to apply the same care to themselves. They freely acknowledge their pain in anonymous surveys, but are less open about talking to their colleagues, friends and families.

Of all the problems surrounding burnout, stress and trauma, the stigma of talking about it needs to be set aside. The problems we are facing today are not without answers, but we need to start talking.

We have made it our mandate to make discussion a part of the solution. Enjoy free access to our recorded event and be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to attend our next live webinar.
